Each studio has its own fully-equipped kitchen, lounge and dining areas – and we bring you breakfast in your studio every morning

Fellside Studios offer you the best of both worlds – the quality and short-stay availability of a top hotel room, plus the freedom and convenience of your own private entrance, kitchen, living and terrace areas.

You can relax in your own studio at any time of day. Microwave a quick snack, or prepare a candle-lit dinner, in your own fully-equipped kitchen. Watch a dvd from your own sofa or lounge chair. Park your car (or your boots) alongside your own front door. Or you can just do nothing, absorbing the stunning views in the peace and tranquility of your own terrace dining area.

You can stay for as little as two days. You don't have to bring any linen, kitchen supplies, or utensils. And we even bring you a freshly-prepared full continental breakfast to your own studio each morning.

Fellside Studios are perfectly situated in one of Lakeland's most peaceful and unspoilt villages

Fellside Studios are set in a quiet lane in the heart of the peaceful Troutbeck valley, yet only a few minutes’ walk from Troutbeck's local village shop and Post Office, the National Trust at Townend, two famous traditional inns with restaurants, and many miles of country lanes, footpaths and bridleways – all accessed directly from your own front door.

Inside each Studio

Purpose-designed for two people, each studio is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with local slate-tiled kitchen and shower-room, solid-oak flooring, microwave, electric-hob, fridge and dvd-player, a designer-furnished living and dining area, and a glazed oak door leading to your own private parking and secluded terrace dining area.

Studio facilities

Both Studios are on the ground floor with a slate-tiled kitchen area, fully equipped with electric-hob, fridge, microwave, toaster etc, slate-tiled shower-room, dining table and chairs, lounge seating, dvd-player, glazed patio door to terrace dining area, private parking, and access to a heated drying cellar, and locked bike storage. The main differences between the two studios are listed below...


Studio 1 has a double bed and unsurpassed views		Studio 2 has twin or double beds and a separate kitchen

Studio 1 has a double bed, the kitchen is in a raised oak-floored area alongside the main room, there are two lounge chairs, and the dining terrace has unsurpassed views down the Troutbeck valley.

Studio 2 has the option of either twin or double beds, the kitchen is in a separate room, lounge seating is a double sofa, and the dining terrace is alongside the front garden with a more limited (but still very beautiful) view across the Troutbeck valley.

We’re sorry to say that Fellside Studios are not suitable for smokers, children under 12 years, or pets.
